Brighton Christian Church is located at 4309 Buno Road in Brighton, Michigan. We were founded in 1974 by New Churches of Christ Evangelism.
Our Mission: “We exist to make Jesus known in our community and beyond by reaching, teaching and loving people.”
Through the years we have not only impacted our local community in Livingston County, our influence has spread throughout the world. Many of our members have been on short term mission trips, while others have spent years on the mission field. Through our mission’s outreach we continue to provide resources to missionary teams across the globe impacting lives in Poland, Ukraine, Thailand, Tanzania, Southeast Asia, Ethiopia and Austria, as well as the United States.
Whether local or abroad, we believe the church is the hope of the world. As we share and live out the message of Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit, lives are being transformed and hope restored.
Our source of truth is the Bible. Our sermons, Life-Groups and worship services are all rooted in God’s Word.
The governing authority of BCC is the board of elders. Potential elders are selected from among the congregation by the elders. If confirmed by the congregation as a man of faith, integrity and maturity, following a 6 month training period they are ordained as an elder.
